General Toolbar Help Usage Help - When I go to some sites, some of the things that I should be able to click on are unavailable to be clicked on.
Some sites use insecure scripts, which may compromise your privacy. Therefore they are blocked by system.
- Sites that require Javascript give an error saying that you can not browse the site as javascript is disabled. is there an option for this?
Please be aware of Javascript, it may heavily compromise your privacy as well your security. That is why Anonymization.Net blocks Javascript.
- Is there something I need to set in my firewall (like port)?
No, you do not need to open any additional ports to use the Services.
- Can I download files?
Annymization.Net does not support downloads.
- Sometimes pictures are stopping to show up when I am surfing anonymously, why?
Anonymization.Net limits you step by step. Disabled images indicate temporary limitation due to exaggerated usage. For best performance please use just one browser window to surf through Anonymization.Net.
- Can I just click my Favorites and surf the Web anonymously?
No. This is not possible.
- Can i browse https websites with Anonymization.Net ?
Annymization.Net does not support https websites.
- Why can I not log in to every website?
A few websites do require Javascript or other unallowed methods to log in.
- Why it is not possible to reach the site http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com ?
There are many reasons why you can not surf some websites through Anonymization.Net. Some sites use not allowed methods, other sites have blocked us.
- I do not see any pictures on any website, what can I do?
You are limited by system. Possible reasons: (1) You simply overstretched the usage of this service. (2) You use not regular browsers (3) One or more persons are using this service from the same intranet. Solution: Just wait a couple of minutes before starting over.
- I do not see any pictures on a particular website, what can I do?
Because of privacy reasons this is an essential conflict bewteen Anonymization.Net and that particular website. You can not do anything about.
- When i tried to reach some page, I get the following message 403 Forbidden What can I do?
The Anonymization Toolbar might help in some cases.
- If I reach a site through your service and use a link to go to a new web site, am I anonymous on the second site? Thanks.
Yes. You may use any internal and external links links as well as forms/buttons etc., it does not compromise your privacy
- How can i change my IP address?
This is done automatically by system. You do not need do anything manually.
- When i use the service toolbar to check my ip -- it says that my ip is the same?
Yes, we just check your connection. If you would like to test the Anonymization Network IPs, we encourage you to do this externally.
- How often will my IP change while using anonymization.net?
For better anonymity we do not change the IP during your session. Frequently IP rotation reveals your identity, everywhere.
- Can i use forms with Anonymization?
Yes, of course.
- How do i remove anonymous web surfing from my computer?
If you have installed the Anonymization Toolbar, just uninstall it. If you just use this service via the website, you do not need to do anything.
- Why do you not allow access to a web site by its ip address?
Anonymization.Net do allow accessing websites by IP. Just delete the - www. - in the main form and type the IP you desire to visit.
- I customized my ie toolbar & included the button, but how do i do that for netscape? the button is not appearing on my netscape browser.
Netscape does not need an extra button for its smart structure on toolbar handling.
- What happens if I log into the mail for example? What IP is then used?
As long you use our service your IP is hidden. No matter where you log in. If there is a serious privacy hole Anonymization.Net immediately reroutes you back home to protect you.
